Remember your Prophet ﷺ…”
When lonely: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ seclusion at Mount Ḥirā’.
When you’re feeling tired in ṣalāh: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ swollen feet in Tahajjud.
When beginning a long journey: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ long journey to Madīnah.
When going against the Sunnah: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ intercession (Ummati, Ummati, Ummati)
When in fear: Remember what the Prophet’s ﷺ said to Abū Bakr in the cave “Be not sad, surely Allāh is with us.”
When humiliated: Remember how the Prophet ﷺ was pelted with rocks inṬā’if.
When angry: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ calmness at the martyrdom of his Uncle Ḥamzah.
When hungry: Remember how he ﷺ would tie a stone to his stomach to combat hunger.
When you have a toothache: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ broken tooth at’Uḥud.
When struggling to forgive someone: Remember how he ﷺ forgave his enemies.
When dealing with loss: Remember how the Prophet’s ﷺ lost his parents, his wives, even his children.
When slandering: Remember the Prophet’s ﷺ was called a liar, was cursed consistently.
Whatever situation you find yourself in, remember your role model, the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ.
In whatever you do, remember your deeds are presented to him ﷺ. The real question is, are we pleasing him ﷺ?
