my courses is tougher : CAT and ACCA ? what is it?

What does Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) studies involved?

A Certified Accounting Technician is someone who fulfils a supporting role within a firm of accountants or the accounts department of a company or organisation. Depending on the size of the firm they work at, they could either assist chartered accountants with daily activities or perform all functions related to finances themselves. Typical tasks would include the following: controlling budgets, managing payrolls, dealing with invoices, auditing accounts, basic bookkeeping and advising on taxation. Certified Accounting Technicians could therefore be regarded as financial controllers – one of the most important positions in any organisation.

As a financial analyst, the certified accounting technician has more concern over the future direction of the company. They will review past financial performance and determine the company’s future opportunities for sustainability. In some ways, the financial analysts focus more on the economics of a business. They desire information that indicates how well the company competes with other companies in the business environment. This information helps the financial analyst make recommendations for future operational changes to the company.

Nak tanya, Kasturi okay tak untuk buat CAT? dari segi lecturer and environment. And kalau sbg full time student, tak perlu ambik MPU subjects mcm kat KPTM kan? Ke kena ambik jugak? huhu
